Priscilla Lucero is a native of Silver City. She joined the Southwest New Mexico Council of Governments in 1987 and in 2003, she became the Executive Director. Priscilla provides technical assistance to her region in matters related to economic development, transportation, housing, water and wastewater.
Priscilla represents the region on numerous boards and commissions including the Community Partnership for Children, Grant County Community Health Council, New Mexico Colonias Infrastructure Board and the New Mexico Finance Authority Weatherization Board. She was recently appointed by Governor Lujan Grisham to serve on the New Mexico Finance Authority Housing Trust Fund Committee and the New Mexico Finance Authority Water Trust Board.
Lucero has been recognized for her work to improve the quality of life for residents in Southwest New Mexico many times, including the Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest Woman of Distinction, Rotary Above Self Award, Joe Guillen Award, and the Grant County Citizen of the Year.
Cerisse Grijalva
Transportation Planner
Cerisse Grijalva is the Transportation Planner for the Southwest New Mexico Council of Governments. Cerisse is a native of Silver City area and graduated from Western New Mexico University with a degree in nursing. Cerisse has been with the COG for 10 years. She enjoys getting projects funded and completed to better our communities in the Southwest Region.
